Impact of the First Thursday in May

What a great prayer covering our nation has been experiencing these past few weeks to include May 1st with thousands of prayer gatherings across the country. It is such a privilege to serve the Lord Jesus with all the coordinators hosting prayer meetings and with those who come to prayer with such zeal for the heart of God.

I wanted to share a few comments from those reporting in about the impact of the First Thursday of May:

From Sandra in Texas:
Our NDP event encouraged pastors to have more prayer in their churches. We have even influenced a city nearby to have their own NDP next year—2 ladies who attended our NDP work for the city and have asked their officials to participate already!! Yea for Jesus!! Lots of love and gratitude to all of you at NDP Task Force.”

From Linda in North Carolina:
The 7X7 was an incredible tool this year for the NDP – many in NC used that as a guide and plan to continue using that through the year for daily prayer – I really was amazed how many events were planned using those seven subjects. It covers the whole of life and influence...There was a deeper place of prayer this year and more relational contacts for me.

More from TX:
NDP has challenged me to see what can be done if there are those in a community who pray together. It takes work, but the crucial thing is, "It is not by might, not by strength, but by His Spirit, says the Lord."

May we continue to press in to God through Jesus for His heartbeat; seeking that hearts across America be changed to fully live up to Matthew 22: 37-39a ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

To God be all the Glory,
Lisa
