A review of the recent National Prayer Conference Call from 7/28/09:
Next it was time to Repentance with so much: one precious sister in Jesus shared of her two past abortions and God's forgiveness and grace that abound. Individuals repented for corporate sins and personal ones. I have been weak in the secret place (Ps 91) to meet with my Lord; He is so faithful to keep drawing me and grant grace and sweet forgiveness of this neglect.
Then brothers and sisters begin to Ask...in the charge of Jeremiah 33: 3, "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty unsearchable things you do not know." The pace was strong as many concerns was brought in belief; "Now to Him is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory..." Ephesians 3:20-21a Some prayer topics included healthcare legislation, G-20 (economic summit) slated for September in Pittsburgh (G-20.com), for righteousness in government, and education, integrity in the marketplace and media, purity in entertainment, the church to arise and have a united voice in these days, our nation's youth and families so much was brought in obedience as Jesus says, we have not because we ask not.
Yield was our final response to both this time of corporate and personal prayer. To listen to Him and follow in obedience, consider our ways, change our direction as led, to connect with Jesus Christ, our risen Lord.
As we are led in National Daily Prayer through conference calls, personal quiet time, with others in prayer walks, in homes, churches, etc, it is our hope that you will be also to join this Task Force as we gather for the National Prayer Summit, October 16-18th, here in Colorado Springs, FACE to FACE. Praying with one another is powerful, seeing God move and meet with us, learn from others, worship in unity, just come. Click here for details: http://www.ndptf.org/summit/

Praising our Lord God
We ask our powerful Lord to richly bless the coordinators as they have given time and their resources to call communities to pray. Truly, they are bearing eternal fruit! We ask God to meet the needs of these priceless volunteers. Time is such a limited commodity in life and these people have families, jobs, commitments and challenges and yet they give selflessly without compensation. Why? Because they know the power of prayer and thus that the real hope for America lies at the throne of the Almighty. Lord God refresh anew those who continue all the year mobilizing prayer.
Coordinators: Thank you for serving the Kingdom through the NDP Task Force. You are much loved and needed! May God continue to grow this praying network!

Well done good and faithful servant...Matthew 25: 21
She also loved to tease. Once I was commenting on someone's 'blem'---she looked confused...I pointed to the blem. She laughed so hard and long..."you mean "bling" referring to bright, shiny, girl stuff like jewelry. She loved to share with others about 'blem' vs "bling'! It was worth it to see her laugh and live with such joy!
I had known her for 11 years. We worked together here in NDPTF for over 5 years. I miss her and pray for her family. I rejoice for her:
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day---and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4: 7

Faithful and True
especially for one who loves horses and viewing the sky--heavens like I do.
Faithful and True is Jesus...WOW---I love that reflection in prayer knowing He is completely, totally, always: Faithful and True. What peace those qualities give me in these days.
I know Jesus will take my prayer, praise and petition to the very throne room of our God. He is faithful and true to intercede (Romans 8: 34) at the right hand of the Father for me and....for you! AGAPE

Loving...
But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5: 8 A new season the Lord God has me in is about more depth in His character of love, joy, peace and hope day by day. A beloved sister in Jesus Christ shared with me recently that my frustration is often misplaced. It is often the enemy that robs me, clouds my view of God's true heart and power. Everyone is made in His image---how He must love every single soul even in our sin. He wants me to have His heart, the highest virtue, for all, even those that I have to dig deeper to understand or relate to. He wants me to simply and completely love everyone through His eyes. I have received love when I didn't deserve it. I have been forgiven when world would have said take offense. I must give no less in return or I haven't really begun to be transformed to the image of His Son, Jesus. "Love means to love that which is unlovable, or it is no virtue at all; forgiving means to pardon that which is unpardonable, or it is no virtue at all----and to hope means hoping when things are hopeless, or it is no virtue at all." G. K. Chesterton More on hope next time...AGAPE dear saint on the journey with the Lord God Almighty!

Humility
What truth dear brother and sister in Jesus Christ! As I reflected on this, I realize and sadly so, that there are times when my prayers (usually public ones too) are taunted with self in one way or another. Humility, dying to Lisa, is a moment by moment, day by day journey.
Lord, I can tell the difference when my prayers are really about Your power, Your redemption, Your ways, Your thoughts, Your grace, Your love...and so can You. Thank you Father for this instruction and Your patience in bringing me along day by day to die to myself and live more fully for You. "Create in my, a clean heart O God..." Ps 51: 10a
